A pilgrimage center, Shravanabelagola is littered with Jain temples of various hues. Visit Chandragupta Basadi, a 12th-century monument built-in memory of King Chandragupta Maurya. The highlight of the monument includes ornamental doors, figurines of significant persons amongst others. Head to Akkana Basadi built in Hoysala architecture style made of soapstone and a simple dome-like structure dedicated to Parshwanath.
