Sauteurs is a quaint fishing town on the island of Grenada. The best time to visit Sauteurs is from December to May. Hike to Leaper’s hill, a 40-meter tall cliff where Carib inhabitants jumped to their deaths rather than be enslaved by French rulers. Visit St Patrick’s Catholic Church, an iconic landmark built by the British in 1840. Right in front of the church graveyard, a viewpoint offers a great view across the bay. Explore the rich wildlife at Levera National Park situated in the north of Sauteurs. Spread over 450 acres, the national park is home to different birds such as black-necked stilts, herons, and common snipes. Visitors can also spot sea turtles hatchery at the beach and learn about conservation programs.
