Razgrad is a bustling city in Northeastern Bulgaria nestled in the picturesque valley of the Beli Lom River. Visit Abritus Archaeological Reserve, a sprawling area that preserves the remains of the Roman town of Abritus. Visitors can see the Romanic columns, remains of a large farm among others. The archeological museum on-site displays the artifacts discovered from the excavation. The museum is divided into five sections and chronicles the rich history of Bulgaria. Discover the Sveshtarska Tomb, a unique complex featuring settlements, temples found in 1982. The monument is believed to have been built in the 34r century BC and is a fine example of the Thracian tomb architecture. The tomb was constructed with large limestone blocks and decorations in keeping with the spirit of the Hellenistic culture.
