Bundi is a charming town in the Northwestern state of Rajasthan in India. Visit the ruins of Taragarh Fort located on a steep hill offering panoramic views of Bundi and the Aravalli ranges. Head to Raniji ki Baori or more popularly known as the queen’s stepwell found by Rani Nanavathi of the royal family. The stepwell has beautiful carving of the pillars. Visit Sukh Mahal, a grand royal palace with an underground tunnel system and an exquisite white marble chhatri or umbrella. The Palace has also hosted novelist Rudyard Kipling and was an inspiration for his book Kim.
