For those who can’t wait to trek, the breathtaking trail to Mount Kaba, a twin volcano, in this Indonesian province, is worth a visit. Make sure to head to the British-built Fort Malborough to take in Bengkulu’s rich history. Other attractions include spotting the largest individual flower on the planet, the Rafflesia Arnoldii, which is in bloom in December. Bengkulu also boasts of some lip- smacking seafood cuisine.
