Barichara is one of the beautiful and well-preserved heritage towns of Colombia. Wander around the cobblestone streets featuring whitewashed buildings with red-tiled roofs looking straight out of a postcard. Visit Catedral de la Inmaculada Concepcion, an 18th-century sandstone church with impressive golden stonework. Head to Capilla de Jesus Resucitado, a pale yellow chappel with a stunning baroque mahogany altarpiece. Watch the sunset at El Mirador, a viewpoint on the western side of the town offering fantastic views of Barichara.
